The system of ordinary differential equations that describes the dynamics of an infinite system of nonlinearlycoupled nonlinear oscillators on a two-dimensional lattice is considered. By means of the critical points method, a result on existence of non-constant periodic traveling waves with an arbitrary positive speed is obtained.
