Praca jest kontynuacją mojego artykułu w Wiadom. Mat. 20 (1993). Różni się tym, że dotyczy całego dorobku Walfisza z teorii liczb, również uzyskanego po jego wyjeździe z Polski do Gruzji, jest natomiast mniej szczegółowe. Podobnie jak poprzedni artykuł i ten opiera się w dużym stopniu na artykule Lamadse (1964), który zawiera m.in. pełny spis prac Walfisza.
