During his sojourn in Paris (1878-1884) Cyparissos Stephanos (1857-1917), a gifted young Greek mathematician had the opportunity to meet P.L. Tchebychev in the Congress of A.F.A.S. (23-30 August 1882) in the city of La Rochelle. As he revealed in his communication in the Proceedings of the Academy of Sciences the Hermite’s disciple from Tchebychev’s communication regarding the mechanisms of parallelograms, was initiated to generalize a very beautiful cinematic proposition. Two months later Tchebychev presented his communication during the session of the French Mathematical Society on the 3 rd November and during the next session, this of the 17th November Tchebychev was elected a member of this Society.
