We present the volume XIII (2019) of AntiquitatesMathematicae. In it, we offer 10 articles (5 in English, 5 in Polish) in 4 sections as well as 1 essay. In the section of History and philosophy of mathematics in the world we published 4 articles in English by 8 authors (2 domestic, 6 foreign). They present the history of Poisson process (written by Tomasz Rolski); 19th century real analysis in the context of progressive and conservative thought (written by Jacques Bair, Piotr Błaszczyk, Peter Heinig, Vladimir Kanovei and Mikhail Katz); fundamentals of mathematics in the Lithuanian language exemplified by textbooks authored by the pres-ident A. Smetona (written by Juozas Banionis). The second part of the article by N. V. Lokot shows further developments in shaping the history of mathematics as a separate discipline in Russia
