The Samuel Dickstein's price is awarded for outstanding achievements in the field of mathematical education, popularization and history of mathematics. It was established in 1978 and the first one recognized by it was Stefan Straszewicz. In 2016, the Samuel Dicstein main PTM award was honored with Professor Lech Maligranda from the Technical University of Lule {\ aa} (Sweden) for outstanding achievements in the history of mathematics.
