It is proposed to use the build-up method to find a solution with respect to time for the numerical calculation of non-stationary self-similar problems of boundarylayer layer. The method is proved using the well-known procedure of forming the boundary layer in an incompressible fluid, and it can easily be extended to more complex self-similar non-stationary flows of a gas compressed in this layer.
