Necessary and sufficient conditions of the dynamic equivalence of two waves propagating in an elastic $p$-layered medium and undergoing all kind of exchanges on the interfaces of the medium are proved. These conditions are represented in the form of identities in which powers of the reflection and refraction coefficients contained in formulas for intensities of these waves enter.
