Transversally inhomogeneous cochlear WKB-model

Inhomogeneous cross-section of the model is constructed on the base of experimental data by Retzius, Hardesty, Wever and Miller. It is shown, that transverse non-homogeneity provides considerable sharpening of the frequency selectivity and some decreasing of phase lag at CF in the used linear three-dimensional wave-guide model without negative damping.
