Possibility of application of kinetic equations with scalar parameter damage for description of deformation processes of hardened materials until destruction is proved experimentally and theoretically. Similarity of creep of initial curves is reconstructed in relative (normalized) deformation coordinates in order to define the functional dependences of creep and damage kinetic equations for materials with variable value of limiting deformation at fracture. From experimentally established similarity of creep curves the damage parameter in uniaxial case is identified with normalized deformation. Accumulation of damages in the material at manufacturing and exploitation phases is illustrated on the example of rod stretching.
