A numerical method to determine the stress-strain state and bearing capacity of a blade for breaking the blade is proposed. The method of blade breakage consists in a redistribution of stresses in the rear cross section of the blade because of an additional thermal loading and in the enforcement of destruction over this cross section at a given frequency of rotation. Some results of numerical study of the stress-strain state are discussed for the case when the cross section is weakened. The proposed method was used to test the impenetrability of the frame using an acceleration stand.
