The paper concerns an analogy in the problems of a steady thermocapillary drift with low Peclet numbers and with the electrocapillary drift of a viscous drop in an unbounded viscous liquid. The motion is considered to be caused by the constant temperature gradient or by the electrical gradient at infinity.
