Periodic motion of a satellite under the gravitational attraction of a rotating rigid body

We prove the existence of a family of periodic solutions for the problem on the motion of a particle under the gravitational action of a homogeneous three-axial ellipsoid close to a sphere of the isame volume and rotating uniformly about the smallest axis.
