Inhomogeneity of impurity incorporation into a crystal at a variable distribution coefficient

The inhomogeneity of impurity incorporation during crystal growth from a melt with fluctuations in the crystallization rate is studied for the case of a linearized dependence of the distribution coefficient on the impurity concentration ahead of the crystallization front.
