Based on the asymptotic approach, the energy equation for the two-dimensional theory of magnetoelasticity of thin shells is derived from the energy formula for the three-dimensional theory of magnetoelasticity. Using the equation obtained for the energy, a uniqueness theorem is proved for the two-dimensional theory of magnetoelasticity of thin shells.
