The article presents ways of drawing a sphere and a rotational cylinder using orthographic and oblique projections. Some examples are shown of incorrect drawings of these solids. Finally, the author criticises present geometry textbooks for not paying any attention to this issue and suggests that it should be part of teacher preparation programmes.
