Let $\mu(t)$ be the number of particles in a Markov branching process at moment $t$ $(\mu(t)>0, \mu(0)=1)$ and let $t-\tau(t)$ be the moment of division of the last mutual ancestor of all particles existing at moment $t$. We investigate limit distributions of $\tau(t)$ in supercritical, subcritical and critical cases.
