An ideal incompressible fluid flow with separated or cavitational domain of constant low pressure closed by a semi-infinite wake of limited width is constructed. The flow pattern follows Tulin's second cavitational scheme but differs from the latter by the hydrodynamically justified conditions for a single-valued solution. The solution to the problem is obtained by means of the closed-form representation of the Joukowski function on a parametric half-plane by the Keldysh–Sedov formula. All flow parameters are determined and the design pressure coefficients are presented for a symmetric flow past a wedge and plate depending on the cavitation number, the angle at the wedge vertex, and the plate inclination.
