We study a nonperturbative generalization of the Veneziano–Yankielowicz effective Lagrangian and show that the transition from this Lagrangian to the Affleck–Dine–Seiberg superpotential by eliminating the gluino condensate via the equations of motion is impossible for $N_c>N_f$.
