The least action principle in general relativity theory

In the framework of general relativity theory, the Einstein equations are obtained using a modified procedure, i. e. by introducing a congruence of timelike curves in the Riemann space and taking into account the relation between the variations. The aim is to satisfy the least action principle with respect to any frame of reference.
