Fixed-scale transformation with allowance for short-range spin correlations

An improved form of the mean-field renormalization-groupmethod is proposed. The improvement is achieved by the replacement by ordinary molecular field theory by an effective-field theory that takes into account spin correlations and by the use at the same time of a fixed-scale transformation for Ising clusters.
