A study is made of the radiative corrections to the motion of an electron in a plane-wave electromagnetic field that is a superposition of a constant crossed field and a plane elliptically polarized electromagnetic wave. It is shown that when an electron moves in such a field it acquires an anomalous electric moment induced by the wave.
