In [1–3] the single-phase high-frequency solutions of the equations of viscous compressible and incompressible fluid were derived. The corresponding asymptotic expansion was chosen in such a way that the zero-order term in the pressure did not depend on the fast-changing variable. It is shown in this note that the last condition is necessary.
