A study is made of the three-dimensional orientational relaxation of a Brownian particle in a strong external field when the particle has a large induced dipole moment for arbitrary sign of the anisotropy of the polarizability and a small rigid dipole moment. Analytic expressions are obtained for the spectrum of relaxation times and relaxation functions of the equation of rotational diffusion in the form of expansions with respect to the reciprocal of the interaction parameter.
