For symmetric scalar theory in the limit of strong coupling expressions are obtained for the scattering amplitudes in the zeroth order in inverse powers of the coupling constant. It is shown that the dependence of the expressions on the coupling constant agrees with the results that can be obtained by Chew and Low's method in the form given to it by Okubo.
