Analytic properties of the ground-state energy in the one-dimensional Hubbard model

A study is made of the analytic properties of the ground-state energy as a function of the coupling constant $c$ for a one-dimensional system of electrons described by the Hubbard Hamiltonian. It i s shown that the exact solution for the energy can be represented in the form of an asymptotic series in $c$.
