Quantum-statistical derivation of the equations of chemical kinetics for reactions of the type $AX+B=A+BX$

The method of an earlier paper [1] is used in a quantum-statistical derivation of the equations of chemical kinetics; sufficient conditions for the applicability of these equations are formulated and general quantum-mechanical formulas are obtained for the rate constants of a bimolecular reaction. The formulas are obtained in a universal form suitable for realization in both a gaseous and liquid phase.
