It is shown that the “point-lattice” model of a crystal is only of the states of a crystal. As the excitation energy increases, “thread-like-lattice” and “plate-like-lattice” structures arise as excitation states of the crystal. The conditions for their existence are elucidated and their properties determined (effective thicknesses, unit cell sizes, binding energies, etc.). It is shown that the new states are stable against time evolution of the distribution function, changes in the form of the threads and plates, the thermodynamic variations of the average density. The continuity of the probability of the atom positions in the structure, which is not due to the averaging procedure but is a primary phenomenon of temperature origin, indicates the existence of a new type of structure.
