Attention is drawn to some difficulties connected with the definition of quasiaverages for model systems. A new method is developed for introducing an auxiliary system and defining quasiaverages for a large class of model systems that contain a negative four-fermion interaction. As a subsidiary result, the solution is given to the problem of the limit expressions for the free energy (in the limit $V\to\infty$).
