The results of experimental studies of a heated air jet, which is fed through a tube, in a transverse air flow, are shown at a constant momentum ratio of 15 and a density ratio of 0.927. The obtained distributions of the air temperature and the corresponding intensity of the temperature fluctuation and dissipation of the temperature fluctuation are used to determine the temperature field of the resulting jet. The results obtained provide new knowledge in this area from the point of view of the physicality of the phenomenon under consideration.
