Harmonic acceleration is assumed in each step of the integration of the differential equation of the dynamic balance of the structure, i.e. its modal transformation. As a result, two methods of numerical integration were obtained, i.e. the direct method and the method of superposition of normal functions. Both methods are unconditionally stable and very accurate compared to the methods most commonly used today.
