The vibrations of the thin-walled rods with cross-sections that are deformable in their planes are analyzed. The analysis is limited to the elastic straight single-span bars with polygonal profile centerlines. The vibrations of the thin-walled bars with underdeformable cross-sections are included as a special case of the general analysis.
