Logic questions often appear in the tests for admission to the various university degree courses. Unfortunately, in such a context the word logic has an ambiguous meaning, and information in the preliminary description of the test is not always helpful to clarify what a logical question is. In this paper we will discuss the structure of different tests and examine several examples of logical questions; we will briefly consider also an historical perspective. In particular, we shall focus on questions taken from Medicineand Surgery admission test, both for the wide mediatic echo of such a test and because in some years (like 2019) logical questions may seem really inadequate. Finally, we provide some suggestions on how to set up a questionin a test, with special attention to logic.
