Most of us use the decimal system with digits 0 to 9 to represent integer numbers. It is technically convenient for computers to represent numbers in the binary system with digits 0 and 1. Although these two number representations are the most common, there are many others, which are often more useful. We shall explore number systems which accept also negative digits.
