The progress in investigation of ordinary water in several last years is discussed in the article. The water can exist in liquid state also in temperatures below 0 ◦C, but the state is metastable. Supercooled water might be able to exist as either a high-density liquid (HDL) or as a low-density liquid (LDL). The dividing line between these two liquids might end in a “critical point”.
