Routing method in IIoT networks using clustering for the RPL protocol

The article describes the principle of operation of the RPL protocol for networks with low power consumption and losses. Modeling has been done and the RPL protocol is being evaluated. The necessity of using clustering for large peer-to-peer networks of the industrial Internet of things is substantiated. An algorithm for choosing the main nodes in clusters is proposed and two algorithms for calculating ranks are developed when determining the best routes from the main nodes in the cluster to the gateway.
