The paper considers a computer implementation of a method for calculating the natural oscillations of a pipeline (vessel) made of composite, based on the solution of a boundary value problem for a 4th-order differential equation describing transverse oscillations of an extended rectilinear section of the pipeline with different boundary conditions. The intrinsic transverse vibrations of a pipeline made of composite and a functionally gradient material containing a uniformly moving fluid with a constant velocity are investigated.
