This paper presents a British-Bulgarian project on creation of electronic resources for preservation, cataloguing, public availability, and study of mediaeval Cyrillic manuscripts. It also gives a brief account of the background work in this particular field, the ongoing project activities, as well as of some problems conserning the standardisation in the e-processing of medieval written heritage.
