Basic information about collections are situated in museums, libraries, archives and cinematographic collections. This text concerns the complexity of cataloguing and describing artefacts and identifying their attributes. Three collections are treated: the collection of engravings, photographs made by I.V. Groman from 1876/78 and photographs of Belgrade in thirties, made by Jeremija Stanojević.
