Double precision numbers

The article talks about double precision numbers. This is one of the unusual numerical systems, the so-called Clifford algebras. It differs from ordinary numbers in that it contains infinitesimals. This makes it possible to solve a number of problems purely algebraically, which in standard calculus require a limit transition operation.
