The article provides examples of using the numerical methods of the Mathcad and Python packages for innovative solution of some mathematical problems. New schemes for constructing Malfatti circles and drawing graphs are proposed. A new definition of a circle is given in terms of the remainder operator. The problems of STEM education in the form of engineering calculations on a computer are discussed.
