School Mathematics Geometric Problems: Past, Present and Future

The paper tells how the tradition of studying Euclidean geometry was broken in the school education of the Western countries. The author describes some contemporary attempts to bring Euclidean geometry back to schools and discusses some relations between geometry and computer-based educational technologies.
