One feature of a set of the elements generated by a genetic code is analyzed. The set is calculated for unusual ways of record of genetic information – being blocked genes when the same site of DNA codes two protein sequences. The concept of elementary overlapping is entered is an overlapping for single amino acids. Mathematical ambiguity among a component of a set of elementary overlapping was established. One of functions of ambiguity was analyzed earlier in this magazine for 2012 two other functions are analyzed below. The first of them is connected with the solution of a task on potential positions of silent mutations for cases of overlapping of the genes belonging to various chains of DNA. The second is connected with expansion of possibility of creation of sets of genetic overlapping more than two genes; structures of possible overlapping of 6 genes in a genome of the person are analyzed.
Keywords: overlapping of genes, ambiguity.
