Numerical calculations of the set of gas flow tests with aid of the one-equation turbulent Spalart–Allmaras model and another based on two-equation SST Menter model was made. The two-dimensional Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes equations and fifth-order differential scheme were used. The subsonic flat plate, spoon-formed cavern, Jones airfoil overflows, separation flow about compression corner and dissipation of a single whirl were examined. The received results allow mark the application regions of tested turbulent models and mark of its supposed defects.
