Calculation of impulse currents in rectangular shields

The method is stated of numerical account of superficial pulse currents spreading on electromagnetic shields of rectangular section. Is shown, that the sharply non-uniform distribution of density of a current in a vicinity of edges of the shields is characteristic for a high-frequency component. The given effect must be taken into account at an estimation of protective properties of electromagnetic shields of the complex form.
