The paper is devoted to the development of a new approach to the construction of adaptive grids based on the use of genetic algorithms. The paper considers one-dimensional and multi-dimensional adaptation of grids. The effectiveness of the proposed approach for the construction of adaptive grids for nonstationary problems is demonstrated.
