Parallel iterative method for 2D equation of radiation transport

The parallel iterative method for 2D equation of radiation transport in the quasisteadystate form [1] is suggested. It is based on the main principle of the method “Domain Decomposition” [12]. Convergence of the iterative process is proved, and degree of convergence is given for special cases. The efficiency of constructed algorithm for solving of 2D quasisteady-state equation of radiation transport is verificated by means of relevant computations.
