An application of the TVD method to computation of the problems of two-dimensional supersonic inviscid gas flows is considered. Physically adaptive-grid technique is used to increase accuracy. The results computed are compared to well-known exact solutions. It is shown that even coarse meshes may by utilized to get rather good results.
