Different schemes for stiff ODE systems are compared, which are included in ROS4 code. Properties of monotony, $L$-stability and interpolativeness of these schemes are investigated. The parameter is chosen, leading to the $L$-stable scheme, optimal in this class. Till now, this parameter was not among recommended ones.
