The problem of modelling of dynamics of distribution of ecological niches is considered. A set of assumptions suggested earlier have been checked using a great amount of geobotanical descriptions from different climatic zones. A specialized program system has been used processing data with use of tables of plant species ecological indicator values. Different responses of plant communities for soil richness and moisture are shown along ecological succession. Results can support development of detailed model of forest ground vegetation.
