We introduce analogues of a map due to H. Rossi ["Attaching analytic spaces to an analytic space along a pseudoconcave boundary", in: Proc. Conf. Complex Analysis, Minneapolis 1964, Springer-Verlag 1965, 242--256] and show how they can be used to explicitly determine all covers of certain homogeneous strongly pseudoconvex 3-dimensional hypersurfaces that appear in the classification obtained by E. Cartan in 1932.
